Formed at Strathclyde University out of a love for house music, Teragroove are an emerging live house/nu-disco band from Glasgow. Influenced by ‘70s disco and ‘00s house, Teragroove blends funky basslines with chucking guitar leads, all powered by thudding four-on-the-floor rhythms, reminiscent of acts such as Daft Punk, Chic, and Parcels.

The trio consists of David Ferguson on guitar and vocals, Sean King on bass, and Finlay Miles on drums. After a breakout headline at the start of the year, they supported Irish outfit Grooveline on their first UK tour, and followed up by raising £1500 in support of Cancer Research UK with their club night “Two-Step For Life”.

Teragroove have revamped their live act ahead of the release of their first single, Disco Groove. The new show, RECHEM_02, is a narrative live show where the fictional pharmaceutical company “Oralude Inc” prescribes the listener with their newest, experimental mood enhancer.

Supporting on the night is Buff Club resident DJ Smuz, fresh off the back of a La Cheetah and Berkeley Suite debut, and openers Cammy Blair and Rouglas going back to back, all setting up the dance floor with housey-disco flavourings.
