DESCRIPTION:Hailing from Dennistoun\, Glasgow\, the DJ/drummer/songwriter/producer known as JBJ first found fame as one half of the queer\, globe-hopping dancefloor DJ/production duo Dolby Anol\, before spending five years touring the world as lead member and vocalist/drummer in self dubbed “Fight Pop” band Dananananaykroyd.\nIn recent years\, he is probably best known as one half of Alt-Pop duo Bossy Love who released their debut album\, Me + U\, amidst a storm of media accolades; with The Guardian including it in their year end list of “Best Albums”. \nAs a DJ\, he has years of experience playing around the world to both intimate clubs and big festival crowds; including Glastonbury\, Wireless\, Field Day and TRNSMT in the UK. More recently he has been the special guest at infamous new queer sex-party THEM in Brussels and launched his own monthly party – the much hyped Act Natural- in Glasgow’s legendary Nice N Sleazy Basement. \nSeamlessly cutting across genres\, from the outer limits to holistically loved classics. Thanks to his painstakingly\, custom made edits and remixes\, JBJ’s sets are dynamic but eclectic\, silly but formidable.
