Its follow-up “Sappho’s Fragments” has aired on BBC Radio 6 and totalled more than half a million streams since its release. \nFlowery\, kaleidoscopic and contemplative\, it’s like an old taping of Iran’s beloved music show Rangarang brought back to life — with added DIY aesthetics and a certain indie flair. Fierce psychedelic guitars and flowing detuned synths infuse each track with emotion and nostalgia\, resulting in a debut that’s both rooted in Persian culture and distinctly modern.\nAfter a successful UK tour earlier this year that included 5 sold-out shows\, Parviz will be back for the second leg of his Khorshid Khanoom Tour\, and will play at Nice N Sleazy on 18th November.

The band’s sound is soulful vocals over infectious rhythms\, sprawling guitars and gloopy synths\, along with their trademark psychedelic visuals.
