After releasing their first ever music video for their song “Out of sight” toward

the tail end of 2016, Home$lice will no doubt hit the ground running in 2017

with the release of their new EP “Young Creatives” on the 24 th of February. “Out

of sight”, the first song taken from this E.P has been described by local music

website GoldflakePaint as a “guitar pop gem, that continues to push the bands

aesthetic.” Recorded at Glasgow’s infamous Green Door Studio “Young Creatives”

sees the band refine their alt pop musings into a sharper and harder sound that

scales the precipice of despair and devotion.

After spilling onto Glasgow’s frenzied music scene in 2015 Home$lice have used

2016 to establish themselves as an up and coming racket that will only serve to

increase in the coming months. Their credentials were well and truly established

when their song “Was it something I said?” from their first un-mastered demo

“Citizen Kane 2” was premiered by Noisey a few months after their first live

show. The last year has saw them support the likes of SWMRS, Homeshake,

Hooton Tennis Club and take a headline slot at King Tuts’ revered Summer

nights festival.

The band became friends through chance meetings in Glasgow’s myriad of

musical happenings, and in June 2015 decided to form. Using a mixed bag of

musical tastes, they have managed to create pop songs that are aesthetically

pleasing but at the same time dense and meaningful in their lyrical content. The

launch night for their “Young Creatives EP” will take place in Glasgow’s Nice ‘n’

Sleazy bar on the 24th of February with support coming from Shredd and The

Ediots. This will be followed by a tour starting in Edinburgh then to the north of
