Pulse is Glasgow based groove psych-rock three-piece comprising J.J. McGowan (aka solo artist Baldego), James Whyte and Michael Murray. Influenced by Muse, Radiohead and Zeppelin, the former Scottish Radio XFM’s artist of the week is an evolving live act within the Glasgow and Edinburgh music scene, where they have supported the likes of Finley Quaye and Jamie T. This gig sees the band’s debut album, Liquid Safari, launched following its recording in various locations during the past 9 months.
