Bottle Rocket

A night for dancing to indie-pop, new wave, rock n roll, post-punk, soul and anything else that makes feet tap and dancing shoes itch. Muddling through by the skin of our teeth since 2008, Chris and Mike’s bewildered pop jamboree combines indie-club staples with cherished non sequiturs, encouraging seasoned oldies like the Boss and sprightly young things like Janelle Monae to jostle together in harmony. If you enjoy negotiating awkward shifts from Cyndi Lauper to the Magnetic Fields, bottle rocket would like to be your friend. Not actual friends of course – I mean, we hardly know one another.
